This is a drawing of the real Mr Smarty Squid. He is the mascot for my professional blog also aptly named Smarty Squid. Fancy that?! I’m in the process of designing a logo for this blog so he has come out of hiding his place to give me some inspiration. Do you like it? Well, BIOMYLH!
Squirt (that’s gooodbye in squid) and thanks for stopping by!
My how time flies when you’re having fun. This week I went back to work (at the library) after 3 weeks rest and my tooth ache is back! Yikes! So now I am having a root canal treatment done on one of my teeth. I am now envisioning cotton wool all over my mouth hence I’ve named this week’s left hand drawing ‘cotton flowers’. Do you like it? Well, BIOMYLH!
Whoa! I can’t believe it. I am publishing this drawing one day early. It’s usually done on a Sunday night (when all my housework is done for the weekend) and mostly in a rush because I’m totally exhausted from all that housework so I want to get to bed by 9.30pm. But this week will be different. I am going to put my feet up and watch a nice movie this Sunday night. Hence, an early blog post for you. Do you like it? Well, BIOMYLH!
Well as you can see, looking at this week’s left hand drawing, I am much happier this week now that my toothache is gone. Woo hoo! The sunglasses represent Ray Charles hence the title ‘Ray of Sunshine’ – get it? So do you like it? Well, BIOMYLH!
It’s no brainer what my week has been about. Knitting and toothache! Has anyone ever come out of the dentist worse off than before they came in? And I’m not talking about financially but physically. I came in to have a check up, had a couple of fillings and then had a toothache! What’s with that? So I’ve had a toothache since Wednesday and I have been woken a couple of nights because of my sore tooth. But my misery was saved momentarily because I learnt how to knit again! I even made something – a fingerless mitt. I’m awesome! So here is what my left hand created for you today. Do you like it? Well, BIOMYLH!
This is my crude version of the Chrome logo to symbolise my frustration with connecting to the Internet this week. Argh! What kind of turkeys build ADSL lines that gets locked up if you use an outdated modem? The nonchalant ones, me thinks. Surely, there is a signal box in the NBNCo headquarters that keeps beeping/flashing to indicate that this particular line (ours!) has suddenly locked up. And all our service provider has to do is ring NBNCo to press a simple button to unlock it right? Well, I do hope that’s exactly what they’re doing! I really don’t think you can BIOMYLH this week.
